We purchased this to improve cholesterol levels, taking two tablets daily. When it was sold out, I tried regular niacin, which caused niacin flush. Ultimately, I realised this version does not cause flushing. It is pricier than regular niacin but worth it if you plan to go out in the morning.

Clinical effectiveness of α-lipoic acid, myo-inositol and propolis supplementation on metabolic profiles and liver function in obese patients with NAFLD: A randomized controlled clinical trial.
We aimed to investigate how myo-inositol (MI) supplementation impacts metabolic parameters and specifically cholesterol levels in obese patients suffering from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
